DIY Acne Fighting Face PackTake a bowl. Add a tablespoon of Suganda Neem Green Tea Plant Mask. Then add a pinch of Turmeric/ Haldi Powder. Add half teaspoon of Honey. Lotus Herbals Tea Tree Acne Gel comes in a spray bottle form. Add about 3-4 sprays in the mix. Tea Tree Oil has a cold-tingly feeling on the skin. So add as much as your skin can handle. I usually add 3-4 drops. Add 5-6 drops of Za Toner. Lemon, being acidic, can cause tingling or slight burning when applied to the skin. Hence adjust the use according to your skin. I usually add 5-6 drops.

DIY Acne Fighting Face PackMix all the ingredients using a spoon or application brush or just fingers until it forms a liquidy paste.

If the mixture is too thick then just add some plain water and mix again.

When and How to use

You can use it as often as you like. I use it 1-2 times a week.

You must use it on clean skin. Get rid off any makeup or anything else on your skin with a face wash or cleanser. Then go ahead and apply the pack with a brush or your fingers. Leave it on for minimum of 15 minutes. As this pack contains honey, it will not dry completely. You will be able to move around comfortably with the pack on. Hence I end up leaving it on for an hour or so.

Whenever you are ready to take the pack off, just rinse your face with plain water.

You can even include this pack in your home facial or clean-up regime.

The Neem Green Tea Plant Mask has a soothing effect on acne prone skin. Turmeric has anti-septic properties and hence fights acne causing bacteria. It also adds a glow to the face. Honey provides the right amount of moisture to the face without being too greasy. It also lightens acne scars. I have incorporated the Lotus Gel since it is an anti pimple gel and seems to be working well. Tea Tree Oil has acne fighting properties and is the best natural anti acne agent. The toner will help minimize pores as open pores can be acne-inviting. Lemon has anti-bacterial, cleansing and bleaching properties. Thus, it fights acne as well as reduces the appearance of scars.

Post use the skin feels refreshed. It immediately calms any irritation or pain resulting from acne. In the long run you will see lesser appearance of pimples and fading of scars too.

Alternative Ingredients

Gram Flour or Besan is a good alternative to Suganda Mask, in case you cannot purchase it. Gram Flour is the best Indian ingredient for face packs. It has natural cleansing and exfoliating properties and reduces the appearance of facial hair too.

The brands of all the things mentioned above are the brands I use. You can replace them with any other brand you like or you already own. For example, Za Toner could be replaced with a toner from any other brand.
