Best Mascaras in India

best mascaras in india
The right mascara can take your look from drab to fab. So here are some of the tried and tested, basically the best mascaras in India.

Here are my top 10 – Best mascaras in India, that can be shopped at a store or online.

1) Maybelline New York Hypercurl Mascara

It doesn’t matter if your lashes are long or not, this mascara gives them that visible curl and honestly holds it for hours. The best way to use this mascara is to use one or two coats, at best. Anything more makes it look a bit spider legs! But it does give a good effect to the lashes.

2) L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara

According to me this is quite an underrated mascara! I love this one so much – it gives that beautiful flared out effect to lashes and lasts almost the whole day. It doesn’t smudge and doesn’t look to clumpy – but in fact makes lashes look beautifully fluttery.

3) Oriflame The One Eyes Wide Open Mascara

This is quite a good products from Oriflame – I’d say a must buy from their makeup range. It’s the perfect mascara for everyday wear. It’s really light weight and even lifts the lashes without looking too much. Perfect for days when you just want a hint of mascara and a good nude lip.

4) Maybelline New York Gigi Hadid Dual Ended Fibre Mascara

If there’s one mascara that can sort you out for parties and special dos then it’s this one from the Maybelline Gigi Hadid collection. This mascara is one of the few dual ended mascaras I love – one end has fibers which when applies to lashes along with a coat of the mascara from the other end, give an effect of wearing false lashes. They add a whole new level of length and volume to lashes. My only hitch with this is the nude packaging – it’s pretty but ends up getting messed up really easily.

5) Benefit They’re Real Mascara

If you don’t mind spending a bit more then definitely try this mascara from Benefit. I suggest you head to Sephora and try it out to know how good it is! This gives a beautiful plum effect to the lashes and honestly holds the lash curl for a really long time.

6) E.L.F. Cosmetics Clear Lash and Brow Mascara

For days when we want our lashes to appear prim yet natural, a clear lash mascara does the trick. I definitely recommend trying this one from E.L.F. cosmetics. It’s not going to give any volume or thickness to lashes but in fact will work on simply making them look separate and like you have naturally pretty ones! Best part – it doubles up as a brow gel too.

7) Lakme Eyeconic Lash Curling Mascara

Lakme is a great brand and has products that are quite affordable. If you are looking for a good value for money mascara then try the Lakme Eyeconic Lash Curling Mascara. It’s perfect for everyday wear.

8) Colorbar Zoom and Whoosh Mascara

Colorbar products work as a dupe for MAC and this mascara too can easily level up to some high end ones. It gives the perfect fluttery lash effect and honestly the wand is the best part about it. It really helps in getting to the roots and those giving a beautiful fluttery effect to the lashes.

9) Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This is easily one of my most loved mascara of all time. Ask any makeup junkie and they’ll tell you what a cult product this is! One swipe of this and you look wide awake. With this mascara you need nothing else – just a good 2 coats of this and a nice bright lip color and you are sorted.

10) Wet n Wild Max Fanatic Mascara

Wet n Wild are known for some good affordable products, and a lot of them are better than their high-end counterparts. Their Max Fanatic Mascara is one of those products. It’s the best mascara to give lashes that fanned out effect, like you are wearing falsies but it doesn’t make lashes look bulky at all. Each lash appears separate and really brightens up the whole look. Definitely worth a try.

So those were some of the best mascaras in India. All of these have been tried and tested by me and have worked really well for me. I’d love to know if you have a favorite mascara too, so make sure you leave that in the comments.
