Hi guys! Today I’m reviewing the Himalaya Herbals Cucumber Peel-off Mask, that I have been using a lot in the past few months. Keep reading to know what I think of it.
Himalaya Herbals Cucumber Peel-off Mask
This comes in a white tube, with prominent Himalaya Herbals branding. The front side has the product name and the flip side has all details like price, directions for use, ingredients etc. It is a sqeezey pouch with a plastic cap on top. The cap is pretty secure and doesn’t keep opening on it’s own.
I picked up the Himalaya Herbals Cucumber Peel-off Mask in 50gm. You get a 100gm. pack as well.
I paid Rs.70 for a 50gm. pack.
Key ingredients that are mentioned all across the packaging include Cucumber and Almond. Apart from this, the mask also contains a lot of fruit extracts.
Here is the complete list of ingredients:
The Himalaya Herbals Cucumber Peel-off Mask claims to:

Fragrance, Color & Texture
The color of this cucumber face mask is a faint green. It looks like a translucent gel, but with a pretty liquid consistency. And it has a weird smell – like that of something synthetic. It feels pretty sticky on the palm so one needs to be very quick while applying it.
During the Face Mask
I’ve tested this product quite a few times – in fact the pack is almost empty now. I have combination skin – it’s slightly oily, slightly dry and also pretty sensitive. So I was honestly happy that this is a peel off moisturizing mask, as I haven’t really tried any of those kinds. And also that this would not only take care of moisturizing my skin, but also take care of dead skin which is a function of it being a peel off product.
Every time I use the Himalaya Herbals Cucumber Peel-off Mask, my skin does feel moisturized. And it almost looks polished on that day – like the dead skin has been taken care of. That itself makes my skin look nourished and toned. And my skin doesn’t feel patchy and dry at all, as after certain peel off masks. But, there’s a difference in the skin looking toned and the skin looking bright. So this mask does nothing on the brightening part.
- Value for money
- Moisturizing – suitable for combination skin as well
- Helps get rid of dead skin
- Tight lid – prevents the product from leaking
- The smell is quite annoying
- It takes a long time to dry
- Doesn’t brighten skin
- Quite sticky texture – while on the palm you need to apply it immediately as it begins to get dry pretty quickly. But once on the face, it takes forever to be completely dry.
Do I recommend this?
Not really. And this is because I’d rather go for a product that moisturizes and brightens skin. Also, it’s pretty difficult working with this product. It takes forever to dry and because it is a peel off, you need to dry it completely to be able to remove it easily. And sadly, that isn’t the case with this.
