Hong Kong Holiday Vlog
I think places in South East Asia could be my favorite holiday spots – and now I’ve just added one more to this list – Hong Kong. A fun buzzing city that keeps alternating between nature and tall buildings – that’s how I describe Hong Kong 🙂 I have captured my entire experience in this Hong Kong Holiday Vlog and would love for you to check it out.

We chose the Tsim Sha Tsui area as this has the largest concentration of hotels. And we stayed in a street called Prat and in a hotel called Butterfly on Prat.
The hotel rooms were small, but extremely clean. The location was great as we were a 5 minute walk away from the MRT and also the markets.
We visited the Victoria Peak which was so beautiful. The tram ride up is a great experience and the views are spectacular. It was extremely cloudy as we reached but once the fog cleared we could see the greenery all around.
The Tsim Sha Tsui promenade is a great place to chill. You can just walk around and enjoy the breeze and if you are here at night then you can see a part of the Hong Kong skyline too. We visited this place multiple times as even the ferry rides started from here.
I love street markets and prefer shopping there while travelling simple because it gives a more local feel and is usually pretty inexpensive. The malls here are extremely luxury and I didn’t shop anything from them.
Here’s where I shopped:
Sasa Department Store – A great place for all beauty and makeup needs
Bonjour – Another makeup heaven!
Ladies Street Market in MongKok
Temple Street Night Market – loved this one!
Cheung Sha Wan Fashion Street
And if you want to see what all I shopped then check these videos:
As a vegetarian, food can get a bit difficult here. But thanks to Trip Advisor I found a lot of Indian Vegetarian places to eat.
Sarvana – Chung King Mansion
Great Aloo Parathas!
Sangeetha Pure Veg
Great South Indian Fare – their set tiffin was value for money
Slightly expensive but tasty food
Cannot believe I ate a Gujarati thali in Hong Kong. Pretty tasty. Their recommended dish is Pav Bhaji but I didn’t try that
I ate the egg burger – which was just boiled egg and cheese and the hot steamed corn
Dessert platter here is awesome – Tiramisu, Chocolate Cake and Cheese Cake
