Hi everyone! Today we’re reviewing the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter. MCaffeine is an Indian brand that focuses on energizing personal care. Their products have uplifting ingredients such as caffeine that help make the body, skin and hair feel and look vibrant. They are also free from Parabens and are not tested on animals.
I recently tried out the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter and was pretty impressed with it. Let’s straight jump into product details!
The MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter comes in a tub packaging. The bottle has the bright MCaffeine branding, along with all of the ingredients, directions etc. mentioned on the tub itself. The size is 50ml.
What attracted me to the brand is that it’s Paraben free and that reduces the chemical implications by a whole lot.
The key ingredients of the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter include Lanolin Wax, Vitamin E and of course Caffeine, among others.
Lanolin is a waxy oil produced by sheep that helps protect them from cold weather conditions. This ingredient makes the product excellent for very dry skin.
Vitamin E has well known benefits for the skin – it contains anti-oxidants, neutralizes the effect of free radicals and keeps the skin supple and youthful.
Caffeine helps give the skin an even and beautiful skin tone and also replenishes the skin.
- The MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter claims to:
- Nourish deeper for revitalized, smooth and supple skin
- Reduce cellulite
The MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter comes in a thick and rich cream form (exactly like body butters should be) and is of an off-white creamy color. It has a slight waxy feeling, which may be because of the lanolin content. The body butter is pretty thick in consistency and needs to be massaged on the skin for a couple of minutes before it gets absorbed. It doesn’t leave a greasy finish but the skin does take some time to absorb it’s moisture-rich nutrients.
The MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter smells like a scented candle – you do get that hint of waxy feeling along with a sweet fragrance. The fragrance isn’t overpowering and strong. But it’s not like the other body butters which have a fruity or floral scent.
My Experience with the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter
The weather in Mumbai is beginning to change now – it is still quite hot, but the air does feel a little nippy. As such, the first few effects of the oncoming of cool weather are witnessed by the skin. It begins to feel a little dry overall and areas such as the back, the elbows and the knees end up feeling really under nourished. I used the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter multiple times in the course of 2 weeks and found that on days when I used it, my body felt really nourished. The dry patches like elbows and knees didn’t become smooth soft instantly – but with every use they did feel a lot more nourished. The waxy texture of the product is something that I’m still getting used to as it really needs to be massaged into the skin for it to get completely absorbed. But overall, the body feels pampered on using this. I honestly don’t have that much of cellulite on my body, but my skin does feel a lot smoother after using this.
- Paraben Free
- Not tested on animals
- Leaves skin soft, smooth and moisturized
- Made in India
- Waxy texture takes a while for it to get absorbed into skin
If you are looking for a good Indian brand that provide paraben free and cruelty free skincare, then you could definitely try the MCaffeine Smooth Jazz Body Butter. The price is comparable to many others in the market. Yes – it isn’t the richest feeling product out there, but if you want something that makes skin smooth, soft and nourished then definitely go for this.
