Revlon Bronze Glow comes in a brick like form, in a black case. It has a transparent top which makes the shades inside visible.
On the back you can see the import details, weight and expiry date, amongst other things.
The product is powder based. Since its a highlighting palette, it does have very fine particles of shimmer in it to give that sheen to the skin.
It’s pigmented color but isn’t very buildable – what you see in the brick is the max color you can get on application.
As you can see, the Revlon Bronze Glow has shades in the pink, peach and bronze family.
The first shade from top is an off white highlight color which gold shimmer in it. So on application it gives a pearly gold sheen. This is perfect for using under the brow bone, on the bridge of the nose, the cupids bow and tops of cheeks.
The second shade is a dusty pink color with gold shimmer particles. This works excellent on the cheek bone, because it can give a nice yet natural looking dimension to the face.
The middle or the third shade is the peachy bronze one with shimmer. This is when you want to go all out on that peachy glow. You could use it as a blusher, or just dust on tops of your cheekbones as a bronzer. This makes for a great eyeshadow color too, paired with brown kohl.
The fourth shade is a pink again, but this one is perfect as a blush color. You can even wear it everyday as the shimmer in this is not very over powering.
The last shade is a more brownish bronzey shade. This is cool toned and can be used in the evenings for a subtle yet visible bronzed effect.
How to use the Revlon Bronze Glow Highlighting Palette?
You can either use this as a blush, bronzer, highligher or eyeshadow or just as a brick – mixing all the shades up. To use the shade individually, you will need a smaller, finer brush to pick up the product, and probable a bigger blush for blending. You can even use your finger if you are comfortable. If you want to use all the colors together, just take a fan brush or a highlighting brush and swipe across the entire brick once and apply it where you want.
How long does it last?
The Revlon Bronze Glow lasts for at least 5-6 hours for me. The color doesn’t disappear, but the intensity keeps reducing as time passes.
Do we recommend it?
Yes! One brick and so many uses. This is a great product and totally worth buying.
