It’s officially the season to get cozy! But sadly, along with great weather winter brings another thing too- dry skin. So we started our hunt for a moisture rich product for our skin. The product that made it to our cart was The Body Shop Shea Body Butter. Read our review to find out whether you should buy it or not this winter season.
The Body Shop Shea Body Butter review:
The product comes in a tub packaging as shown.
It has a yummy buttery smell.
What it Claims
It certainly fulfills what it claims 😀
Texture and Form
It does not look like a regular moisturizer. It is quite solid in form – just like a block of butter. On touching it feels like molten butter. Its texture is quite creamy and slippery. It does not feel extremely heavy on skin. However, if layered too much the product is perfect for using on winter nights.
How and When to Use
Take some product and start massaging over the desired area in circular motions. This product can be used all over the body.
Treat yourself with a night pampering session: Take a hot water shower or bath. Post bath dry off all the water from the body with a towel. Then use The Body Shop Cocoa Butter Cream Body Scrub. Take some product and massage in circular motions. This step will exfoliate all the dry skin. Then rinse your body and pat dry. Post drying your body use The Body Shop Shea Body Butter all over the body. Then have good night’s sleep and wake up to smooth and supple skin the next morning.
This product is a boon for someone who suffers from dry knees and elbows. This is the first moisturizing product that in our opinion actually works on these areas 😀
Quantity, Price and Expiry.
The net quantity of the product when packed is 200 ml/ 6.75 OZ/ 192 g. Its MRP is Rs. 1,095. It expires in approximately 33 months.
